1. Sleeping in late after being up till 4 AM for Northern Spark. 2. Being lazy all morning and early afternoon and watching three episodes of "Mad Men" in a row. 3. Keeping the house fairly cool despite the New Orleanian summer weather. 4. Making a little progress on the tangled up mess that is my iPhone and digital photos. 5. Scott's willingness to do a nasty garden chore on such a hot day. 6. Iced tea. 7. A brief Chat with Morgan's sister and her friend about printmaking. 8. They liked my tags, even the poorly-done ones! 9. Tacos and Sierras with Heidi. 10. A beautiful thunderstorm that brought in wonderful, cool air.

1. Only feeling a little bad about skipping almost a week's worth of posts here. 2. That means I can just list a few highlights from several days! 3. Kip's advice that I change to a sunnier look on here, rather than black. I like it. 4. An enjoyable, successful, rewarding shoot last week at Orbit. 5. All the great people I worked with and around, especially Liz, Kelly, Sarah, Kirki and Bobbi. 6. Delicious catered food by Laura Bonicelli for our lunches. 7. A spontaneous afternoon of walking and sitting at a sidewalk cafe and going to Icebox with Christian. 8. A guilty pleasure: chili con queso at Pepito's. 9. Convincing Christian not to drive after a few too many cocktails. 10. Not freaking out, but just resting peacefully, when I woke up at 3 last night and had insomnia till 7.

1. Bedroom spring cleaning and mattress flipping, with Scott's help. 2. Weather so bizarrely warm I needed to get out and install my window screens. 3. Morgan's help finishing sanding and painting the screen frames. 4. Having nice roommates who do their "weekly chores" promptly and pleasantly. 5. Seeing a wild turkey run through the yard! 6. JoAnn's delicious Thai shrimp and noodles dish. 7. Going to a goofy art event at Wing's Third Place gallery. 8. Stopping to have a beer at Mi Sinaloa with Morgan, JoAnn and two friends and seeing some hilarious Mexican karaoke. 9. Being invited up to a party from the porch of JoAnn and Morgan's neighbor's house. 10. A lovely chat with Kathleen at the party.

1. Yorkshire Tea. 2. Getting paid to work while sitting on the sofa in my pjs. 3. Actually getting in 8 full hours of work, a hard task for me with such dull, solitary computer work. 4. Kind messages from two friends. 5. Making plans to chat soon with Justin 6. and go biking with James. 7. Pizza Luce leftovers for dinner. 8. A Fulton IPA with the pizza 9. A nice hot sea salt and lavender oil bath. 10. Being good and tired and falling asleep easily.

1. Waking up early and easily. 2. Hanging out with Xavier while he shot 3. my black eye portrait 4. and pix of my two ponytails. 5. Extra time for scoring work. 6. An awesome lazy Saturday nap. 7. Nice company for the evening from Pete. 8. Pleasant chats with Sheila Regan 9. and Andy Ducett, which surprised me. 10. Realizing I might not care as much about art events as I thought I did.

1. Getting out! 2. Going to Augsburg Library 3. and the Y with Christian. 4. Seeing a gorgeous key-lime pie colored Jaguar E-type on our walk to Target. 5. Laughing at the absudity of all the things they were out of: Rit dye, Mojo Bars, food scales, Old Home cottage cheese... 6. A kid walking along 31st Street with his mom, holding a huge tree branch. 7. Feeling a bit hyper but not anxious 8. Bath fizz from Soon's clothing swap 9. Actually seeing Chauncey when I fed him. 10. Sleeping in my own bed.

4. Braiding Eva's fine straight hair--and it stayed in almost all day!
5. Fun thrifting with Eva and Eliot.
6. Finding a couple good Ts at the "Kidworks"
7. And a 50s planter at "Houseworks."
8. Good laughs over dinner at the "old folks' restaurant"
9. And the absurd cover of a senior magazine in their lobby.
10. Blue the cat keeping me company at night.
