1. Telling the nice receptionist at my clinic that he reminded me of Rosie Greer. He thought that was a riot. He's a kids' football coach.
2. Having the honor of being my primary care doctor's first patient after 5 months away on pregnancy bed rest and maternity leave.
3. Getting my H1N1 shot.
4. All the Christmas wrapping crap is off my dining room table and back in the attic.
5. Feeling much stronger at the Y, especially on the arm bike.
6. The pear-currant-rosemary jam came out great.
7. It tastes awesome with goat cheese and stoned wheat crackers.
8. A glass of Surly Darkness. Pretty smooth stuff.
9. A lovely "cheap date" dinner at Red Stag with Rich.
10. A very special Christmas gift from him.
