7. Sometimes it's nice to run errands in the suburbs.

9. Mindfully cutting cucumbers and onions for tomorrow's pickle-making.
10. A good film: Bright Star by Jane Campion. Weird seeing Kerry Fox as Fanny's mother. I think of her as 20-something from An Angel at My Table.
